Ep. 22- Utilizing Practice Variability to Enhance Performance w/ Philip O'Callaghan

For today’s episode, I’m joined by Phillip O’Callaghan (@Mr_Tennis_Coach)

Phillip is Tennis coach and PE coach from Cork, Ireland...Phillip is a graduate of University College in Cork , where he studied  Sports studies ad Physical Education. 

Phillip is a life long tennis athlete and over the last several years he has been involved in coaching tennis, including coaching the University of Cork Tennis Team.

Phillip is truly has a passion for coaching, and in fact spends much of his free time reading the latest research in Skill acquisition.  In fact, Phillip has a blog on his website Mrtenniscoach.com where he reads these research papers, and breaks them down into his takeaways ,and some practical applications that I think are useful for all coaches…he really does a great job there.

In our conversation, we discuss everything from his blog, who he thinks the Best movers in tennis are, to various topics on skill acquisition!...I hope you enjoy!
